What is it?
The Excelsior Springs Community Center offers an incredible Lifeguard Certification course through the American Red Cross! Class participants receive hands-on training with an experienced instructor and are prepared to respond in aquatics emergencies. This certification lasts for 2 years and can be renewed within 30 days of its expiration. The American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification is widely accepted at various aquatics facilities nationwide! Upon hire, the ESCC will pay the full price of your Lifeguard certification- all you have to do is sign our Lifeguard Certification Contract!
What is the Lifeguard Certification Contract?
The Lifeguard Certification Contract simply states that the Excelsior Springs Community Center will pay the complete cost of your Lifeguarding certification, as long as you agree to stay on our team as Lifeguard (and maintain good employment standing) for a minimum of 6 months and work an average of 10-15 hours per week.
